Packaging Operator

Full-Time Position

Compensation: DOE

Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily packaging tasks

• Packaging

• Labeling

• Equipment operation

• Assuring the final product meets the standards of quality required

• Perform routine checks and troubleshooting

• Move materials through the packaging process by following the FDA guidelines or other safety procedures

• Packs every product in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures

• Verify the product, the size assigned, and the correct packaging components

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Ability to track and record production throughout shift

• Able to multi-task

• Able to work independently as well as with a team

• Able to work well under pressure

• Able to keep a clean work space

Position Requirements: 

• Professional attitude and appearance

• Regular and prompt attendance required

• Minimum 2 years prior production/manufacturing experience (preferably in the food packaging industry, snack food experience a plus)

• Must possess strong operating ability

• Knowledge of the Spanish Language also a plus

• Must have knowledge of trouble shooting machinery

• Excellent verbal and written communication
